Here at Bread & Butter Bakery we love bread.
It is a wonderful, nourishing food that has sustained countless generations of humans for thousands of years. Our shelves are packed with long-fermented and wheat-free sourdough loaves, German rye breads, French baguettes, Italian ciabattas and a selection of bread rolls, including the crowd favourites - pretzel rolls. We use mostly organic ingredients, our doughs are fermented slowly using natural sourdough starters that develop flavour, texture and better digestibility. We also make a large array of sweet pastries, savouries and sandwiches and in our café in Grey Lynn, we serve an all day brunch menu using fresh seasonal ingredients sourced locally.
