New Website shipping/delivery information
We can deliver to the Auckland metro area on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. All orders need to be placed by 11:30am the day before the next available delivery at the latest. If you don’t specify a specific delivery date, we will deliver the next available delivery day (Wed, Fri or Sat). If you want your order to be delivered on a specific day, please specify your delivery day.
We use Urgent Couriers to deliver to you on the same day. Urgent Couriers are Carbon Neutral certified by adopting Landcare Research’s CarboNZero programme to offset their carbon footprint. For central areas they can use cycle couriers. 85% of their vehicles are low emission vehicles.
- Variety of delivery options
We offer two delivery options (Wed, Fri, Sat) within Auckland Metro areas:
- Express delivery (before 11am): this option is dynamically priced by our courier partners Urgent Couriers and will be calculated at checkout. The final cost is dependant on your shipping addresses distance from our bakery in Grey Lynn.
- Same-day delivery: (between 12pm – 5pm): Most Auckland Central, North Shore and western and eastern suburbs are included in this option. Cost is $20.00. The outer rim suburbs of the Auckland Metro area are priced at $25.00 per delivery.
- Pick-up from Bread & Butter Café, Grey Lynn (every day, between 7:30am – 2:30pm). Cost: Free
We can also deliver to Hamilton and Tauranga on the same day (Wed, Fri, Sat). Prices will be calculated at checkout and depend on your location.

All prices for shipping are for up to 20KG of shipped weight. Larger orders may incur an extra delivery fee.
- Expected delivery times
Within Auckland Metro you can opt for express delivery in the morning (before 11am) or afternoon delivery. Please see above.
- Additional information
All our breads and pastries are made to order. Therefore all orders need to be placed by 11:30am for next day delivery. Any orders placed after 11:30am will be delivered the following day unless otherwise specified. If you are placing an order for a specific day in the future, please note the delivery day in the notes at checkout.
In cases of extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, road closures or strikes that prevent us from getting the already made products to you, we cannot take responsibility for delays. We will aim to keep you informed about any known delays and we encourage you to use the live tracking of your order to keep up to date on its status. For delays and damages caused by circumstances outside of our control we do not offer a refund.
- Automate shipping notice
If you have entered your details and phone number during the check-out, you can opt to have automatic shipping tracking send you notifications. This will allow you to keep up with the status of your order at all times.
- Refunds & damaged product
If your order arrives damaged , if something is missing, or if you have any concerns about the quality of your products, please get in touch with us on email@example.com. If possible, please provide photo evidence of the products in question. We will aim to get back to you within 24 hours. Alternatively you can call us on 09 378 9111.
